This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Petitioner No.11 & 18 and Mr.D.Raghu, the learned counsel for the second respondent are present in Lok Adalat. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The petitioners have filed writ of certiorari mandamus for quashing G.O.Ms.No.40 Transport (D) Department dated 16.04.2014. Pending finality of the writ petition, petitioner No.11 Thiru.Mohanraja and petitioner No.18.Thiru.K.Kangeyan both did not want to press their request further. Accordingly, in so far as the petitioner Nos.11 & 18 are concerned, the writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed. No costs. Consequently,connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
