The writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to furnish CCTV footage for assisting investigation.

2. It is seen that the writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the second respondent to furnish CCTV footage for the purpose of investigation to be conducted by the fourth respondent. But it is seen from the record, already the fourth respondent sent a letter dated 15.10.2009 to the second respondent requesting the CCTV footage, and on receipt of the same, the second respondent also replied to the petitioner on 02.05.2011 that due to lapse of 1 1⁄2 years from the date of occurrence, namely 09.09.2009, the footage was not available with them. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered by this Court and this petition is devoid of merits.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
