The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 302 IPC subsequently altered into Sections 120(b), 458, 302 read with Section 34 of IPC, in Crime No.234 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, on 29.06.2022, one Balasubramani was murdered by six unknown persons. Thereafter, on investigation it was came to light that, the father of the deceased person/A1 engaged other accused A2 to A6 to murder his son. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the bakery and he is nothing to do with the alleged occurrence and further submitted . Based on the confession statement of the arrested accused/ A5 and A6, who were wording under the petitioner,he has been implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is a close friend of A1 and he only engaged some henchmen to murder the deceased. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the reason that the petitioner is the master mind behind the entire crime and that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
