The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to consider their representations of the petitioners dated 14.12.2015 within a stipulated time.

According to the petitioners, they are residents of Annai Anujgam Nagar Extension, Old Perungalathur, Chennai 600 0063, who are down trodden as well as economically weaker section in the Society. The petitioners are in occupation of small extent of land comprised in S.No.403/2 at Old Perungalathur area for the past 15 years, which is classified as Nanjai Tharisu and they have been provided with the family card, voters ID and electricity service connection. The Government of Tamil Nadu has been extending various kinds of welfare measures and assistance to the economically weaker and poor sections in the society and they also issued various Government Orders from time to time for issuance of free house site patta to the unauthorised occupants in the Government Poromboke land for more than five years.
According to the petitioners, they are entitled to get patta in their favour, by virtue of the said Government Orders.
the occupied lands as house sites and issue patta in their favour, they neither issued any allotment orders nor issued patta to them. Hence, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

Heard Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representations, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 14.12.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioners and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
