Dul Karunai, aged 33 years, now confined in Central Prison No.2, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066 under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo No.346/BCDFGISSSV/2019, dated 22.06.2019, detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3001 Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 16.08.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
