ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.404/9B, Nanjukondapuram Village, Vellore Taluk, to an extent of 67 cents and patta has been issued in his name. Subsequently, the 3rd respondent issued a joint patta in the name of the petitioner and one Natarajan, in respect of 3 1/2 cents. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

first respondent/District Collector to rectify the mistake and issue a separate patta to the petitioner. The first respondent, in and by his proceedings, dated 14.03.2019 has forwarded the representation to the 2nd respondent/ Sub-Collector and directed him to take appropriate action on the same. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that now, the petitioner's representation is pending with the 2nd respondent/Sub-Collector, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other persons, in whose name the joint patta has been issued, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
