O R D E R

The order impugned dated 16.05.2014 states that the petitioner was residing along with his father in a joint family at 21, S.N.Chetty Street, Roayapuram, Chennai-13. In view of the fact that the petitioner was living in a joint family along with his father, a separate family card was not considered based on the application submitted by the writ petition.

2. Now six and half years have lapsed. If there is any change in the status, or if the petitioner is residing separately now, then the petitioner is at liberty to submit a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

fresh application for the purpose of grant of family card by following the procedures as contemplated. In the event of filing of any such fresh application, the Authorities are directed to conduct an enquiry and take appropriate decision by following the procedure as contemplated.

3. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed. No costs.
