Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to instruct the 2nd Respondent to effect mutation of village revenue records by entering the petitioner's name as Patta-holder in respect of the property in Survey Old Survey No.250, New Survey No.373/3 having an extent of H0.0320.0A, classified as 'Natham', in Konganapuram Revenue Village, in erstwhile Sankagiri Taluk, (Presently in Edappady Taluk) Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dt.02.09.2020 within a reasonable period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to instruct the 2nd Respondent to effect mutation of village revenue records by entering the petitioner's name as Patta-holder in respect of the property in Survey Old Survey No.250, New Survey No.373/3 having an extent of H0.0320.0A, classified as 'Natham', in Konganapuram Revenue Village, in erstwhile Sankagiri Taluk, (Presently in Edappady Taluk) Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dt.02.09.2020 within a reasonable period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate made a statement on instructions that the prayer of the petitioner has been rejected on 09.09.2020.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and the same is closed. The petitioner is now at liberty to challenge the said order dated 09.09.2020, if he is so desirous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
