Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal during the time of admission.

2. The petitioner was suspended from service on account of his involvement in a criminal case registered by the Police pursuant to the complaint preferred by a builder. The suspension was made as early as on 16.05.2014. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the second respondent has not taken any follow up action to review the order of suspension. The petitioner submitted a representation on 5.11.2014, requesting the second respondent to review the suspension. Since follow up action was not taken by the said authority, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. There is no dispute that the petitioner was suspended from service by order dated 16.05.2014. There is nothing on record to show that the second respondent reviewed the suspension thereafter.

4. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 5.11.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
