Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to re-determine the compensation payable to the petitioner for the lands acquired in accordance with Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act pursuant to the application of the petitioner dated 05.09.1994 and as per the directions of this Court passed in W.P.No.9053 of 2004 dated 15.04.2005.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to re-determine the compensation under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pending writ petition, considering the petitioner's representation, the first respondent/District Collector passed an award on 23.07.2021.

3. Considering the fact that already award has been passed by the first respondent/District Collector, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.
