ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1, 3, 4 and 5 not to relieve the petitioner pending disposal of C.P.S.No.396 of 2026 dated 23.03.2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent and also to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The petitioner is an employee in TASMAC shop situated at Walsham Road, Udagamandalam. His date of superannuation is on 25.05.2026. The petitioner had made a representation on 23.02.2026 to the respondents 3, 4 and 5 seeking to extend his age of superannuation from 58 years to 60 years, as per G.O.(Ms) No.29 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department, dated 25.02.2021. The same has not been considered by the respondents to date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Since the petitioner's age of superannuation is likely to lapse in a period of two weeks, a mandamus is issued to the respondents 1, 3, 4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2026, on merits and pass appropriate orders on or before 21.05.2026.
