O R D E R

The petitioner is presently functioning as Physical Education Teacher in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thirupur. The first respondent issued a charge memo to the petitioner on 6.1.2014, containing as many as 11 charges. The petitioner submitted her explanation on 25.01.2014. It is the grievance of the petitioner that nothing was heard thereafter. According to the petitioner, the pendency of the disciplinary proceedings would affect her service and as such the petitioner challenges the order dated 6.1.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

The first respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner vide Charge Memo dated 6.1.2014 as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
