Crl.O.P.No.17321 of 2022 Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.

Taking note of the gravity of offence of cheating of the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.16,50,000/- and 15 sovereigns of gold jewellery, the anticipatory bail petition filed earlier was dismissed on 06.04.2022. The petitioner has revived the prayer again in the present criminal original petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that husband and wife have cheated several persons in similar manner. While her husband has been secured and he is in custody in different case, this petitioner / wife is absconding and the police is unable to trace out the whereabouts and to interrogate the money cheated and modus operandi cannot be under way.

3. Taking note of the gravity of the offence and serious objection raised by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court finds that there is no change of circumstances. Hence this anticipatory bail is dismissed.
