O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this writ petitioner is for a mandamus, directing the first respondent to take action against the respondents 2 to 5 and consequently, direct them to issue
necessary revenue documents to the petitioner, by considering his representation dated 18.09.2017.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an agriculturalist. He approached the respondents 2 to 5, for issuance of Small farmer certificate and other relevant revenue documents for his lands, but, his claim was not considered. Hence, he made several representations to the first respondent to take action against the erring officials and issue necessary revenue documents to him. However, till date, no steps have been taken by the first respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced two different proceedings with regard to the arrears to be settled to the Khadi Craft Department, Thanjavur as well as the cancellation of patta proceedings of the petitioner.
4. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.09.2017 and also considering the aforesaid two documents and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as all the necessary parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-VI) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ms To
