The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records relating to the first respondent's proceedings in letter No.14550/C2/2011-5 dated 08.09.2011 which has been since communicated to the petitioner through the second respondent vide letter No.S8(4)/20232/2012 dated 24.03.2014, to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents to forthwith revise and re-fix the pension and other pensionary benefits, taking into account the services rendered between 02.08.1980 and 29.04.1991 as qualifying services for the purpose of pension and pensionary benefits and to extend all benefits thereto.
2.When the writ petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner's entire service (including the services rendered by the petitioner 2/4
between 02.08.1980 and 29.04.1991) had been taken into account for pensionary benefits and recommended to the Accountant General (A & E), Chennai for sanction of pensionary benefits to the petitioner and further submitted that the petitioner has also received all the pensionary benefits without omitting any period. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is closed.
