O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner wherein the petitioner had requested for the correction in the name of her daughter in the marks statement that was issued on completion of the Senior School Certificate Examination.

2.When the matter came up for hearing on 22.10.2021, this Court passed the following order:

Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 20.10.2021, a copy of the corrected certificate was furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is stated that even in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

corrected certificate, the name of the student has been wrongly mentioned. In other words, instead of mentioning the name as "R.S.EMAYASHREE'' , it is mentioned as "R.S.EMAYA SHREE''.

2. This has to be corrected and the certificate must be given to the student and the fresh certificate shall be handed over to the school before the next date of hearing.

3. Post this case under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance' on 29.10.2021.

3.When the matter taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that the correction has been carried out and the corrected certificate will be sent to the 2nd respondent School today. The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that the student can collect the corrected certificate from the School. It was further submitted that a copy of the corrected certificate was also served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent school to furnish the corrected certificate to the petitioner on or before 02.11.2021. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
