[Order of the Court made by Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, J] By this miscellaneous petition, the petitioners seek leave to challenge the order dated 14.02.2024 in W.P.No.26544 of 2018. The said writ petition was filed by one S.Narasammal seeking consideration of representation dated 02.01.2018 for reconveyance of the land of the petitioner therein. The writ petition was dismissed and the Court referred to the direction issued in W.P.No.32485 of 2023 for the conduct of CBI enquiry.
2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that acquisition proceedings have been instituted on the basis of this order and therefore, the petitioners are aggrieved.
3. In case acquisition proceedings are initiated against the petitioners, it is always open to the petitioners to defend such proceedings in accordance with law. For such purpose, the petitioners cannot be permitted to assail an order dismissing a writ petition seeking reconveyance of land. Therefore, this petition is dismissed without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners to contest acquisition proceedings in accordance 2/4
with law.
