Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant prospecting licence for 2 years and quarrying lease for 20 years in favour of the petitioner in respect of Government quarry lands measuring 6.00.0 hectares comprised in S.F.No.29/1, Hill of No.123, Kungiliyanatham, Chengam, Tiruvannmalai District and shown in the sketch annexed with application by considering the petitioner's quarrying lease application dated 29.06.2001 under the Granite Conservation and Development Rules, 1999.
