ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 seeking issuance of allotment order and the sale deed in respect of the property in which the petitioner is in possession.

2. Mr.S.Karthikeyan learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is possession of the plot No.58, Door No.89/62, Main Road, Annai Sathya Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai-600 062 for more than 40 years. He made a representation to the 2nd respondent seeking allotment of the said plot. Since, there was no

response from the 2nd respondent, the petitioner made a representation to the 1st respondent on 07.03.2023. Since, the said representation did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised, however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 seeking issuance of allotment order and the sale deed with respect to the aforesaid plot and pass appropriate orders on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection to the said order being passed.

6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2023 seeking issuance of allotment order and the sale deed with respect to the aforesaid plot of

which the petitioner is in possession and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.

7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
