(Order of this Court was delivered by T.RAJA,J.) This petition has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 111 days in filing the above appeal.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the impugned decree and judgment was passed by the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai dismissing the petition in O.P. No.4064 of 2011 seeking divorce, filed by the petitioner, the petitioner's mother passed away on 29.04.2021 due to Covid-19, leaving the petitioner in lurch and therefore, he was not only disappointed, but frustrated in life. After recovering from the loss of his mother, the petitioner came to know that there was a delay of 111 days in filing the above appeal, which is neither willful, nor wanton, but due to bonafide reasons.

3.We are able to see the sufficient reasons given by the petitioner. Since the petitioner has lost his beloved mother, he was not 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

vga able to come back to his normal life. Therefore, we are inclined to condone the delay of 111 days in filing the above appeal. Accordingly, this petition is allowed and the delay is condoned.
