ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1378 of 2018 on the file of Inspector of Police,Thiru.vi.ka. Nagar Police Station, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and the learned Governement Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent police.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners and the defacto complainant have appeared before this Court along with their respective counsels. This Court have enquired both parties, the defacto complainant stated that she is not inclined to proceed with the complaint and want to withdraw the proceedings against the petitioners. The petitioners/accused also stated that they would not cause any interference in the family members of the defacto complainant in future. Moreover, 2/4

the petitioners also inclined to withdraw the complaint against the husband of the defacto complainant.

4. Considering the above submissions made by both parties, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.1378 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent police, is quashed. No costs.
