O R D E R

Writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent for forbearing the 4th Respondent from running the illegal cable connection in respect of the area specifically existing allotment to the petitioner at CPWD quarters K.K.Nagar, Chennai-78 in view of the representation dated 2.12.2014.

2. The petitioner is a Cable TV operator applied for renewal of license for a period between 11.06.2014 and 10.06.2015. He made an complaint to the respondent on 02.12.2014 to take action against the 4th respondent for providing illegal cable connection to his customers. By lapse of time, this Court is of the opinion, that nothing survives for adjudication. However, considering the representation dated 02.12.2014, a direction is given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the said representation within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
