Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to consider and pass order on the representation dated 18.02.2013 submitted regard to issuance of patta to the petitioner's land admeasuring an extent of acre 0.30 cents comprised in Survey No.186-1A/2 situated at No.174-Veerapuram Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondent to issue patta to his land measuring 30 cents comprised in Survey No.186-1A/2 situated at No.174-Veerapuram Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. According to the petitioner, he had purchased the land measuring 30 cents through a Sale Deed No.2294/1985, dated 04.10.1985, on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thirukazhukundram Taluk and pursuant to his purchase, he gave a representation for issuance of patta, which has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2013 for grant of patta and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
