ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue a Family Card to the petitioner based on his representation dated 20.11.2015, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

present residing with his family members at No.96/57, East Street, Kachirayapalayam, Vadakkanandal Post, Chinna Salem Taluk, Villupuram District. After his marriage, the petitioner applied for deletion of his name from his parent's Family Card to the 2nd respondent and obtained the necessary Deletion Certificate also.

Thereafter, enclosing the same, the petitioner has applied for New Family Card and the same was acknowledged by the 2nd respondent in No.2785/2010. Since no New Family Card was issued to him, the petitioner has sent several representation to the respondents including the representation dated 20.11.2015 which was sent through RPAD. Since, the same has not been considered till date, he is before this Court with the present Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, the 3rd respondent is directed to take immediate action based on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2015 and to provide a New Family Card to him, if he is otherwise entitled to. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
