This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner to the property in T.S.No 186 (Old S.No. 145) corresponding to Paimash No.413, 414, 415, 416, 417 and 418 of Thiruvanmiyur Village, Mylapore, Triplicane Taluk, Chennai District in line with the sale deed dated 17-10-1950 registered as document No. 3306 of 1950.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to act on the application submitted by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property. 2.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry on 02.12.2020 at 3.00 p.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent has already called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
