Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to grant extension of time to execute the sureties before the Judicial Magistrate, Coonoor and to comply the conditions imposed on the Petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.605 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.32730 of 2019 vide order dated 21.01.2020. Order: This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. KALYAN KISHEN SINGH, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR. A.GOPINATH, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 21.01.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.605 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.32730 of 2019, this Court extended a period of two weeks for furnishing sureties.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to the lockdown for covid-19 pandemic, he was unable to arrange the sureties as ordered by the Court. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking further extension of time for surrender.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the petitioner deserves to be considered favourably.

4. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court and execute the sureties. All other conditions remain unaltered.
