This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 25.08.2020, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for change of name in the revenue records in favour of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Mr.E.Balamurugane, learned Special Govt. Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent has called the petitioner for enquiry on 16.12.2020 at 12 p.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.
3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the 2nd respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
