ORDER
This petition has been filed directing the respondents to fill the vacancy caused due to the death of Mr.Pachaiyappan in the AEE post by considering the candidature of the petitioner as he is holding the post of AEE as incharge from 27.11.2020 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.04.2025.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was holding the post as in-charge AEE for the past 5 years and now, the post of AEE has become vacant due to the death of one Pachaiyappan. Hence, seeks for a direction to the respondent to fill up the vacancy by appointing the petitioner in a permanent position.
3. The learned senior counsel submitted that the petitioner's name was included in the category of AE in the proceedings of the second respondent vide proceedings dated 07.02.2019, thus, the petitioner may be considered 2/4
for filing up the post of permanent AEE.
4. Heard both sides.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.04.2025 and pass appropriate order(s) on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
