ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.08.2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 120(b), 324, 307 and 302 IPC read with Section 109 IPC in Crime No.289 of 2007 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail 2.Heard both sides.

3.I am informed that trial has progressed in S.C.No.46 of 2015 before the Additional District (Fast Track) Court, Mettur and three witnesses have already been examined.

4.A direction is therefore given to the learned Additional District Judge, Additional District (Fast Track) Court, Mettur, to complete the trial in S.C.No.46 of 2015 on or before 17.11.2021. The learned Additional District Judge, may keep in mind that the entire issue surrounds with respect to Crime No.289 of 2007.

5.In view of that particular direction, the present Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is made clear that I am not entering into the merits raised in this bail petition.
