The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the lands measuring an extent of 2.38 acres comprised in S.No.15/3 and an extent of 3.23 acres comprised in S.No.23/3 situate in Vayalur Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kanchipuram District and to make necessary changes in the revenue records.

2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.Rahul M.Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations commencing from 06.04.2007 to 26.11.2013 in accordance with law. 3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations commencing from 06.04.2007 to 26.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
