This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent Police not to harass the petitioner without following due process of law in Crime No.not known of 2025.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the first respondent Police called the petitioner for enquiry on the basis of the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant and apart from that, the first respondent Police have not harassed the petitioner, as alleged by the petitioner.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. If the presence of the petitioner is required, the first respondent Police is at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 13.05.2026 ssb/mtl
