PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of conducting a petition enquiry in connection with his own brother Mr.Srinivasalu on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of conducting a petition enquiry in connection with his own brother Mr.Srinivasalu on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.157 of 2019 and the investigation is pending before the respondent police.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
