ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition on hand has been instituted challenging order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal dated 20.07.2023 passed in O.A.No.1054 of 2022.

2.

The petitioner filed Original Application challenging the recruitment notice dated 30.09.2022 and for further direction to permit the petitioner to participate in the process of selection. It is not in dispute that the Writ Petitioner was permitted to write the written examination. However, he was unsuccessful in the written examination and therefore, not selected for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner being a differently abled person, the benefit of extra time was not granted to him during the examination. The said claim now made by the petitioner cannot be considered by this Court, since the process of recruitment was already over and the petitioner was not even successful in the written examination. However, the relief sought for by the petitioner to participate in the process of selection was granted and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken. 4.

Consequently, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, are closed. [S.M.S., J.] [M.J.R., J.] 28.11.2024 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order gd
