Learned counsel for the applicant / intending plaintiff refers to the exclusive dealer agreement between the applicant and the respondent and points out that the said agreement was executed at Chennai and that exclusive jurisdiction was conferred on Courts at Chennai under clause 66 thereof. Upon considering the above submissions and on examining the plaint, affidavit and material documents, it is evident that this Court has jurisdiction to entertain the suit. Consequently, leave is granted as prayed for. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the plaint, if otherwise in order.
