Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for all relevant records relating to the impugned Language Qualification Clause 4(ii)(b), for Admission to the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery Course, in the Prospectus for Under Graduate Courses in Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, for the 2013-14 Session, published by the 1st respondent Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy dated nil, herein to quash the same as arbitrary, improper, unjust, unconstitutional, thereby directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to relax to said Language Qualification Clause in order to provide equal opportunity in selection process, to all the eligible student on merit, in conformity to the Constitutional Rights, to pursue the said course and consequently to select and admit the petitioner's daughter in the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery Course for the 2013-2014 Session, on merit, in accordance with the Rules of Reservation.

When the case was taken up for hearings on 17.01.2018 and on 05.02.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on 05.02.2018, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that since the relief sought for herein is related to the academic year 2013-2014, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
