To modify the condition that the petitioners/accused are ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for Rs. 10,000/- along with two acceptable and reliable sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistriate-I Alandur. One among the sureties to be a Government surety, imposed on the petitioners by the Principal Special Court under E.C and N.D.P.S. Act, Chennai by an order dated 22.04.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.2146/2026.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition that the petitioners/accused are ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- along with two acceptable and reliable sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistriate-I Alandur out of which one among the sureties should be a Government surety, imposed on the petitioners by the Principal Special Court under E.C and N.D.P.S. Act, Chennai by an order dated 22.04.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.2146/2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions regularly.

3. Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of offence, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.2146/2026 dated 22.04.2026 that the petitioner/accused is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- along with two acceptable and reliable sureties ( out of which one among the sureties should be a Government surety) each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I Alandur is modified to the effect that the petitioner/accused is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- along with two acceptable and reliable sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Alandur.

4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is modified. 14-05-2026 nr To Inspector of Police PEW St. Thomas Mount Police Station, Chennai.
