ORDER
This Court, by an order dated 30.11.2018 in W.M.P.No.1 & 2 of 2014 in W.P.No.28555 of 2014 directed the respondent to disburse the terminal benefits, for which, the petitioner is legally entitled to within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Alleging that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent has paid Earned Leave salary and Special Provident Fund along with interest to the tune of Rs.2,22,692/-. He has also produced the copy of the order dated 16.12.2021. He further submitted that since the petitioner is not permitted to retire from service, other terminal benefits cannot be paid, at this stage.
3. Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed as no further adjudication is required in this petition.
