Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, directing respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner to put up a compound wall for peaceful enjoyment of the petitioner's property namely 25 cents of land in Survey No.29/1A, Poonamalee Village, Thiruvallur District.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner to put up a compound wall for peaceful enjoyment of the petitioner's property viz 25 cents of land in Survey No.29/1A, Poonamalee Village, Thiruvallur District.

2. The petitioner has given a complaint stating that some vendors are claiming right over the share of his property and hence sought for police protection.

3. Now, almost four years have lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
