ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to return back all the original certificates belonging to the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government counsel for the first respondent and the learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent.
3.It is seen from records that the petitioner has undergone the course before the third respondent College during the academic year 2007 to 2011 and he has also cleared all the papers in the year 2013. The petitioner seems to have handed over all the original certificates to the third respondent College. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent College has not returned back the certificates to the petitioner.
4.The petitioner had approached the second respondent University seeking for a direction to the third respondent to return back the certificates. The University, by letter dated 29.07.2021 specifically directed the third respondent to return back all the original certificates. In spite of the same, the certificates were not returned back to the petitioner and aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the specific direction given by the second respondent University to the third respondent College to return back the certificates, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to return back all the original certificates to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
