Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the impugned notification Na.Ka.No.23789/2020/B1, dated 06.10.2020, issued by the 1st respondent and published in Dinamani Daily Newspaper on 09.10.2020 for acquisition of land for the project of formation of Jalagandapuram By-Pass Road in Mettur Taluk and Salem District, followed by the impugned notice in Na.Ka.No.23789/2020/B1, dated 09.10.2020 issued by the 1st respondent to the petitioner and quash the same in so far as the petitioner's land is concerned.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned notification dated 06.10.2020, issued by the 1st respondent and published in Dinamani Daily Newspaper on 09.10.2020 for acquisition of land for the project of formation of Jalagandapuram By-Pass Road in Mettur Taluk and Salem District, followed by the impugned notice dated 09.10.2020 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issued by the 1st respondent to the petitioner and to quash the same in so far as the petitioner's land is concerned.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.R.Rajagopal, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.D.Anandamurthy, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that pursuant to the order dated 17.12.2020 passed in W.P.No.18997 of 2020, the 1st respondent had issued an errata in Tamil Daily, Dhina Thanthi on 18.12.2020 and that the petitioner can very well participate in the enquiry.

3. Mr.R.Neekandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the errata issued by the 1st respondent, the petitioner had participated in the enquiry proceedings.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
