as supervisor in the Tasmac Shop No.4399 at Thaiyur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram [South] by considering the explanation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2025 to the show cause notice dated 03.04.2025 with all service attendant benefits.

ORDER

Challenging the impugned proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.666/A1/2024 dated 16.04.2025 and to quash the same and to further direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner as supervisor in the Tasmac Shop No.4399 at Thaiyur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram [South] by considering the explanation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2025 to the show cause notice dated 03.04.2025 with all service attendant benefits, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Supervisor in Tasmac Shop No.4399. On 29.03.2025, a surprise check has been conducted by the District Manager in the shop and at that time it was found that the sales man had sold the King Fisher Ultra Man Beer more than the MRP rate at Rs.10/-, 2/6

instead of Rs.210, it was sold for Rs.220/- and as a supervisor, as the petitioner has not prevented the same, a show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner on 03.04.2025. It is the further case of the petitioner, that the petitioner was not in the Tasmac Shop No.4399 on the date of inspection and therefore, the charge levelled against the petitioner does not arise at all. Though the petitioner gave proper and convincing explanation to the respondents, the third respondent issued a suspension Order to the petitioner on 16.04.2025. Further, the third respondent has not taken any action on the explanation given by the petitioner and no enquiry has been conducted. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. Though very many allegations have been raised in the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if the third respondent consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner and complete the enquiry within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the enquiry would be completed within a period of eight weeks and appropriate Orders would be passed.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to consider the explanation given by the petitioner dated 03.04.2025 and pass Orders on the same on merits by giving due opportunity to all the parties within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 29.05.2025 vrc Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No To,
