O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide the information about the result of investigation in respect of petitioner's complaint against Padiamannuerpet Vyabarigal Sangam Office bearers.

2. The case of the petitioner is that as per the communications of the first respondent, dated 8/9/2016 and 27/6/2017, the Public Information Officer is duty bound to disclose the result of investigation. Since the petitioner has not received any communication, he has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.

3. Heard Mr.V.Chandraprabu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.Hema Muralikrishna, learned counsel for the respondents.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the query sent by the petitioner to the first respondent asking him to provide the details of the action taken against the Association under the Page No:2/4

Right to Information Act, first respondent had sent a communication dated 8/9/2016, wherein the Public Information Officer/second respondent was directed to communicate the result of investigation. Even after repeated communications, Public Information Officer, did not inform the result of investigation against the office bearers of Padimannuverpet Vyabirigal Sangam.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent to implement the order of the first respondent dated 8/9/2016 by providing result of the investigation to the petitioner, after thorough enquiry.

6. Considering the limited request of the petitioner, if the investigation is completed, result of the investigation may be communicated to the second respondent. If the investigation is not completed, second respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and intimate the same to the petitioner.
