2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

In view of the submissions and the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this Court is of the view that the delay of 586 days in re-presenting the Appeal may be condoned on terms. Accordingly, the delay is condoned subject to payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) to the High Court Legal Services Committee, Chennai, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
