ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.08.2025 for the alleged offences under Sections 311 and 112(2)(B) of B.N.S. in Crime No.872 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons were involved in an act of robbery. Hence, the case was registered.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has no active involvement in the alleged occurrence and has been falsely implicated in the case. It is further submitted that without proper investigation, the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused and arrested. Hence, he prayed for bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has three previous cases, out of which one is of similar nature. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side.

6. This Court is of the view that considering the petitioner has three previous case, out of which one is of similar in nature, this Court is of the view that if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is a likelihood of his indulging in similar activities. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
