Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct and administer the Maha Kubhabhishekam of "Sri Sendraya Perumal Temple", Konur Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, scheduled to be held on 08.06.2025 and the subsequent Mandala Poojas scheduled to be held from 09.06.2025 to 20.06.2025, by themselves (HR&CE Department) without allowing the respondents 5 to 12 or any other third party to conduct and administer the same.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- " To direct the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct and administer the Maha Kubhabhishekam of "Sri Sendraya Perumal Temple", Konur Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, scheduled to be held on 08.06.2025 and the subsequent Mandala Poojas scheduled to be held from 09.06.2025 to 20.06.2025, by themselves (HR&CE Department) without allowing the respondents 5 to 12 or any other third party to conduct and administer the same."

Heard Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 has submitted that the Executive Officer viz., the 3rd respondent, who is the present in-charge of the said temple alone is conducting the Maha Kumbhabhishekam. He would also submit that the respondents 5 to 12 has no specific role in conducting the same.

4. Recording the said statement of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 29.05.2025 dsa Note:- Issue order copy by 30.05.2025.
