ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 23.04.2018 seeking consideration of the benefits of pay scale as per proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies made in Na.Ka.No.92088/ 2008/SF3 dated 21.08.2008.
2. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader (Co-op) accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 23.04.2018 seeking to fix a time scale of pay. But, no orders have been passed till date on the same. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner has sought for limited relief, no useful purpose would be served by seeking counter affidavit from the respondent and as such this Writ Petition may be disposed of with a direction to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2018, within a stipulated period.
6. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for the same.
7. Hence, regard being had to the facts and submissions, especially nature of relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2018 and take an informed and considered decision on the same in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
