ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Victoria Gowri, J.) Seeking to quash the notice dated 06.05.2026 issued by the 3rd respondent to demolish the school premises scheduled on 14.05.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the school by name Musthafa Matriculation School is situated in S.No.78/2, Musthafa Nagar, Pallipadai Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District and the said school is being run for more than 33 years. However, the impugned notice came to be issued scheduling to demolish a portion of the said school on 14.05.2026, as the said building is situated on natham land in S.No.78/2 of Pallipadai Village.

The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that already an appeal/revision is pending before the first respondent in this regard and this Court has already passed an order in W.P.No.9825 of 2026 dated 16.03.2026 directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible. However, the same is still pending.
4. In view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.9825 of 2026, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal/revision filed by the petitioner in this regard within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, the impugned notice dated 06.05.2026 shall be kept in abeyance. After disposal of the petitioner's appeal/revision by the first respondent, a final call shall be taken with respect to the demolition notice in question.
