Mr. S.J. Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.R. Kishore Kumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the 4th respondent.
2. By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing in the admission stage itself.

It is averred that the petitioner's grandmother Mrs.Muthuvediyammal had purchased the property situated at Pulikkal village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District, comprised in Survey No.45/1 to an extent of Acre 1.59 cents, survey No.45/3 to an extent of Acre 1.19 cents, and survey No.58/1 to an extent of Acre 1.70 cents, by way of a registered sale deed in document No.117 of 1985 dated 24.01.1985 at SRO, Palacode. It is further stated that his grandmother had settled the said property in his favour as well as his brother, by way of a registered settlement deed in document No.1113 of 2025, dated 04.03.2025 at SRO, Palacode. Subsequent to which, he applied for patta name transfer for the said property, vide application No.21.04.2025 to the respondents, which evoked no response. Hence this writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if a direction is issued by this Court to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application, dated 21.04.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has stated no objection for issuance of appropriate directions by this Court in the above regard.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application, dated 21.04.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to all the parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
