O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to register the complaint dated 17.12.2015.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint on 17.12.2015 before the 2nd respondent as against one Santhosh Gopal and Nirupama on the allegation of cheating. Since no action was taken by the 2nd respondent for the complaint lodged on 17.12.2015, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that on the complaint dated 17.12.2015 given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and since the matter pertains to money dispute between the parties, the complaint was closed as civil in nature and he has also produced a closure report before this Court to that effect.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the complaint has been closed, nothing survives in this criminal Original petition. Hence, the present https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
