This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents to register the First Information Report on the complaint of the petitioner dated 02.09.2021 to the second respondent forthwith and to file the final report by conducting free and fair investigation by some other agency. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondents police have received a complaint from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and enquiry is pending.

3.In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits and veracity of the complaint, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct preliminary enquiry and register the FIR, if cognizable offence is made out, as per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in AIR 2012 SC 1515. Otherwise, closure report shall be sent to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner feels aggrieved, he can file a protest petition. 4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
